SIAN ICQRF Codes
ICQRF Codes
Purpose: master data of the company’s ICQRF facility/depot codes, i.e. the physical positions registered with the reference authority (ICQRF) to which the movements of the oenological register are communicated. Each code represents a “position” to be indicated on subjects, operations and locations.
| Field | Use and purpose |
|---|---|
| Code | ICQRF code of the facility. On validation it is normalized by removing spaces, to ensure a format consistent with what SIAN expects. It is the key used as a reference throughout the module (operations, locations, subjects). |
| Description | Readable description of the ICQRF position, to make it easier for the operator to select. |
| ICQRF Credential Code | Links the ICQRF code to the authentication credential to be used for transmitting. It is the link that, starting from the facility, determines with which credentials and toward which environment (test/live) the Web Service requests are sent. |
Use: a company can have multiple ICQRF codes (multiple facilities/depots); each points to the correct credential, so on submission the system traces from the position → credential → environment/endpoint.
In the Location Card, in the dedicated SIAN section, the ICQRF code must be entered.
ICQRF Credential
Purpose: contains the technical authentication data toward the SIAN Web Services and determines the environment (test or production) of the transmissions. It is referenced by the ICQRF codes.
| Field | Use and purpose |
|---|---|
| Code | Identifier of the credential, used as a reference by the ICQRF code. |
| Description | Description of the credential (e.g. authority/environment), for operational selection. |
| Username Live | Username for the production (live) environment. |
| Password Live | Password for the production (live) environment. |
| Username Test | Username for the test environment. |
| Password Test | Password for the test environment. |
| Fiscal Code | Fiscal code of the ICQRF subject holding the credential; identifies the entity with the service. |
| Valid for transmission | Flag that enables the credential for actual submission toward SIAN: if not active, the credential cannot be used to transmit. |
| Test | Determines the environment: if active, all Web Service calls are directed to the test endpoints; otherwise to the live ones. It is the test/production discriminator described in the setup. |
Functional relationship between the two tables
In short: the ICQRF code represents where (position/facility), the ICQRF credential represents how and toward which environment to authenticate. Each SIAN operation/subject inherits the ICQRF code and, through it, the credential that governs endpoint, authentication and transmission enablement.
Location Card
The SIAN group on the Location Card links each BC depot/warehouse to the information required by the oenological register: where (ICQRF Code, which carries with it credential and environment) and on whose behalf (subject as vendor, commissioner as customer). These values are then used by the SIAN logic when generating operations from inventory movements; consistently, a missing location or its ICQRF code blocks the processing of the flows that require them.
| Field | Use and purpose |
|---|---|
| ICQRF Code | Links the location to the ICQRF code of the facility/depot (relation to EOS083 SIAN ICQRF). It determines the ICQRF position to which the register movements are referred and, through it, the credential and the environment (test/live) for transmission. It is the key link that routes the location’s inventory movements into the correct SIAN register. |
| SIAN Subject Code | Identifies the SIAN subject associated with the location (relation to Vendor). It represents the default subject (counterparty) to attribute to the SIAN operations originating from that location when the standard document does not provide a counterparty (Purchase entries, Sale entries, Transfer entries) |
| SIAN Commissioner Code | Identifies the SIAN commissioner of the location (relation to Customer). It represents the commissioner associated with the location, for operations carried out on behalf of third parties (commissioner / subcontracting-type logic). |
