Handling Units Types (HUM)

On the page Handling Units Types it is possible to establish whether a unit corresponds to a “Load Carrier” or a “Package”:

Field	Description
Code	Code to be assigned to the load unit
Description	Free description
Type	Handling Units can be: Load Carrier (e.g. Pallet): on the load carrier you can load boxes with additional packages inside Package: it is a simple box, which can be connected to other boxes. Then all together they can be linked to a Load Carrier, which is assigned to a document
HU No. Series	each handling unit can have its own numerator
SSCC (Serial Shipping Container Code)	if Type = “Load Carrier” has been set, the flag allows the numerator to follow the GS1-128 rules of a Serial Shipping Container Code. The system adds the final Check Digit.
Default	the flag allows you to set a numerator as default
