What is Gordon Service

Gordon Service is a Windows Service that enable the comunication between the installed Business Central Services and the tools from the Gordon Suite.

Installation

To install Gordon Service (and all the other tools from the Gordon Suite) you need to use the EOS Gordon Installer.

First of all you need to download the installer:

  1. Go to https://eos-solutions.github.io/Gordon/
  2. Click on Download
  3. When downloaded, open it and click on “Install”
  4. After that, the EOS Gordon Installer will automatically open


Gordon Service must be installed machine-wide With the EOS Gordon Installer, the Gordon Service can be installed as follow:

  1. Open the EOS Gordon Installer as Administrator
  2. Click on the setting button in the top right corner
  3. Change the scope to “machine-wide” and close the setting page
  4. go to the “Not Installed” tab, find Gordon Service and click on Install.
